Data collection on our website

Who is responsible for collecting data on this website?

Data on this website is processed by the site operator. You will find their contact details in the legal notice for this website.

How do we collect your data?

Some of your data is collected because you tell it to us – data you enter in a contact form, for example.

Other data is collected automatically by our IT systems when you visit the site. This is mainly technical data such as your browser, operating system or the time the page was called up. It is collected automatically as soon as you enter our website.

What do we use your data for?

Some of the data is collected to make sure the website is delivered without error. Other data may be used to analyse how you use the site.

What rights do you have regarding your data?

You have the right at any time to obtain information free of charge about the origin, recipients and purpose of the personal data we hold about you. You also have the right to demand that this data be corrected, blocked or deleted. You can contact us at any time about this and about any other question concerning data protection, at the address given in the legal notice. You also have the right to complain to the competent supervisory authority.

Analysis tools and third-party tools

When you visit our website, your browsing behaviour may be evaluated statistically. This is done above all with cookies and with what are known as analysis programs. The analysis of your browsing behaviour is generally anonymous; it cannot be traced back to you. You can object to this analysis or prevent it by not using certain tools. Detailed information can be found in the privacy policy below.

This website uses Stetic, a statistics and analysis service for websites. Stetic collects, evaluates and stores anonymised visitor data for optimisation and marketing purposes. It uses cookies stored as text files in your browser cache. These cookies serve to recognise the browser and so allow the statistics to be determined more precisely. Stetic stores IP addresses only in anonymised form. Data collected through Stetic is not used to identify a visitor to this website personally without that person's separate consent. Cookies can be prevented by setting your browser software accordingly. You can also prevent the storage and processing of your data in future by objecting to the collection of your anonymised visitor data at https://www.stetic.com/optout.html?pid=32642.

You may object to this analysis. We explain how to object in this privacy policy.

2. General information and mandatory disclosures

Data protection

The operators of these pages take the protection of your personal data very seriously. We treat your personal data confidentially and in accordance with statutory data protection rules and this privacy policy.

When you use this website, various items of personal data are collected. Personal data means data by which you can be personally identified. This privacy policy explains what data we collect and what we use it for. It also explains how and for what purpose this happens.

We point out that data transmission over the internet, for example in communication by e-mail, can have security gaps. Complete protection of data against access by third parties is not possible.

Note on the controller

The controller for data processing on this website is:

Atres GmbH
Managing director: Herbert Kogel
Registered office: Aachen
Commercial register: HRB 24824 Aachen
Postal address: Von-Broich-Straße 6, 52072 Aachen, Germany

Telephone: +49 241 182 45 05
E-mail: info@atres-webdesign.de

The controller is the natural or legal person who alone or jointly with others decides on the purposes and means of processing personal data such as names or e-mail addresses.

Withdrawing your consent to data processing

Many data processing operations are only possible with your express consent. You can withdraw consent already given at any time. An informal message by e-mail to us is sufficient. The lawfulness of the data processing carried out up to the point of withdrawal is unaffected.

Right to data portability

You have the right to have data that we process automatically on the basis of your consent or in performance of a contract handed over to you or to a third party in a common, machine-readable format. Where you request direct transfer of the data to another controller, this will only take place where it is technically feasible.

SSL and TLS encryption

For security reasons and to protect the transmission of confidential content, such as orders or enquiries you send to us as the site operator, this site uses SSL/TLS encryption. You can recognise an encrypted connection by the browser address bar changing from "http://" to "https://" and by the padlock symbol in the browser bar.

When SSL or TLS encryption is active, the data you send us cannot be read by third parties.

Information, blocking, deletion

Within the framework of the applicable legal provisions you have the right at any time to free information about the personal data we hold about you, its origin and recipients and the purpose of the processing, and where applicable a right to have this data corrected, blocked or deleted. You can contact us at any time about this and about any other question concerning personal data, at the address given in the legal notice.

3. Data collection on our website

Cookies

These web pages make some use of cookies. Cookies do no damage to your computer and contain no viruses. They serve to make our offering more user-friendly, effective and secure. Cookies are small text files placed on your computer and stored by your browser.

Most of the cookies we use are session cookies. They are deleted automatically at the end of your visit. Other cookies remain stored on your device until you delete them. These cookies allow us to recognise your browser on your next visit.

You can set your browser so that you are informed when cookies are set and allow cookies only in individual cases, exclude the acceptance of cookies for particular cases or generally, and activate the automatic deletion of cookies when the browser is closed. Disabling cookies may limit the functionality of this website.

Cookies required to carry out the electronic communication process or to provide particular functions you have asked for (a shopping basket, for example) are stored on the basis of Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. The site operator has a legitimate interest in storing cookies in order to provide its services in a technically error-free and optimised way. Where other cookies are stored, such as those for analysing your browsing behaviour, they are dealt with separately in this privacy policy.

Server log files

The provider of these pages automatically collects and stores information in server log files, which your browser transmits to us automatically. These are:

  • browser type and version
  • operating system used
  • referrer URL
  • host name of the accessing computer
  • time of the server request
  • IP address

This data is not combined with other data sources.

The basis for the processing is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR, which permits the processing of data to perform a contract or to take steps prior to entering into a contract.

Contact form

If you send us enquiries via the contact form, the details you give in the form, including the contact data you provide there, are stored by us in order to deal with the enquiry and in case of follow-up questions. We do not pass this data on without your consent.

The processing of the data entered in the contact form therefore takes place solely on the basis of your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). You can withdraw this consent at any time; an informal message by e-mail to us is sufficient. The lawfulness of the processing carried out up to the point of withdrawal is unaffected.

The data you enter in the contact form remains with us until you ask us to delete it, withdraw your consent to its storage, or the purpose for storing it no longer applies (for example once your enquiry has been dealt with). Mandatory statutory provisions, in particular retention periods, are unaffected.

Registering on this website

You can register on our website in order to use additional functions. We use the data entered for this purpose only to provide the offering or service you registered for. The mandatory details requested at registration must be provided in full, otherwise we will refuse the registration.

For important changes, such as to the scope of the offering or for technically necessary changes, we use the e-mail address given at registration to inform you.

The processing of the data entered at registration takes place on the basis of your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). You can withdraw consent you have given at any time; an informal message by e-mail to us is sufficient. The lawfulness of processing already carried out is unaffected.

We store the data collected at registration for as long as you are registered on our website and delete it afterwards. Statutory retention periods are unaffected.

Processing of data (customer and contract data)

We collect, process and use personal data only in so far as it is necessary to establish, shape the content of, or modify the legal relationship (inventory data). This takes place on the basis of Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR, which permits the processing of data to perform a contract or to take steps prior to entering into a contract. We collect, process and use personal data about the use of our web pages (usage data) only in so far as this is necessary to enable the user to use the service or to bill for it.

Customer data collected is deleted once the order is complete or the business relationship has ended. Statutory retention periods are unaffected.

Transfer of data on conclusion of a contract for services and digital content

We pass personal data to third parties only where this is necessary in the course of performing the contract, for example to the bank charged with processing payment.

No further transfer of the data takes place, or only where you have expressly agreed to it. Your data is not passed to third parties without express consent, for example for advertising purposes.

The basis for the processing is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR, which permits the processing of data to perform a contract or to take steps prior to entering into a contract.

Google Web Fonts are used in the interest of a consistent and attractive presentation of our online offering. This constitutes a legitimate interest within the meaning of Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.

If your browser does not support web fonts, a standard font from your computer is used.

Further information on Google Web Fonts can be found at https://developers.google.com/fonts/faq and in Google's privacy policy: https://www.google.com/policies/privacy/.
